BOTOX
Botox is a substance derived from botulinum toxin (BOTULINUM TOXIN), which works by blocking the nerve signals to the muscles in the injected area. This relaxes the muscles and prevents wrinkles from forming.

Botox is used in various cosmetic and therapeutic procedures, including:
- Treatment of facial and neck wrinkles: Botox is injected into the muscles responsible for wrinkles on the face, especially around the eyes, to eliminate wrinkles for up to six months. It is also used to treat other facial muscle issues, such as a gummy smile, facial nerve paralysis, neck lines, and the enlargement of the masseter muscle that appears in some individuals due to teeth grinding during sleep. The effects of Botox are visible within three days after injection. It is recommended to avoid direct sun exposure or heat after the session.
- Migraine or chronic headaches treatment: Botox is injected into specific muscles in the head to help alleviate the pain of migraines, with effects lasting up to six months.
- Excessive sweating treatment: Many people suffer from excessive sweating in the underarms, hands, and feet. Botox is injected superficially into the skin to reduce the secretion of sweat glands, and the effects begin within a week of the injection, lasting up to six months. It is advised to refrain from exercising or using topical antiperspirants for two days after the session.

In general, Botox procedures are safe, quick, and produce fast and satisfying results. It is recommended to consult a specialized doctor before proceeding with the treatment.
